Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has stated that the Nigeria senior national team is set for one more push ahead of today’s Third-place game against Tunisia as they battle to ensure they end up with something at the end of the 2019 AFCON.
Rohr speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net said it is not yet over for the team as they still have to battle and give their all to win the Bronze medal which must be earned on the field of play against Tunisia.
He stressed that there are still positives to take from the teams outing so far despite the disappointment of having to settle for a third-place game as against the initial desire of playing the AFCON final proper.
“The tournament is not finished yet, it’s still one little final to play, unfortunately, it’s not a big final but despite the disappointment, there are a lot of positive things and our team fought very well.
They did well against the champions, beat South Africa that beat Egypt and even against Algeria. “
