Eguma eye first three points of the season against FC Ifeanyi Ubah

Rivers United coach, Stanley Eguma is optimistic that his team will secure their first win of the season in Sunday’s NPFL week 3 clash against FC Ifeanyi Ubah FCIU.

Eguma’s side is still without s win after two matches in the 2019/2020 Nigeria professional football league season.

 

The Pride of Rivers will lock horns with FC Ifeanyi Ubah on Sunday and experience Eguma is confident his boys will finally register their first three points of the season.

 

“Anyone who saw our game against Heartland will wonder why we did not win by at least three clear goals.

 

“We dominated from start to finish while they had just one clear chance which they scored with.

 

“I am not one to cry over spilled milk as I am sure that with the work we have put in this week, we will correct the mistakes against Heartland when we face (FCIU) on Sunday,” Eguma concluded.

 

Rivers it started the season with an impressive 0-0 draw in Kano against Kano Pillars, the pride of Rivers was held at home by Heartland in matchday 2 with the match ending 1-1.
