Sunshine stars have been on a 5-game winless run in the NPFL has seen the side, scoring just twice as they endure their worst run since the 2016 season, but this season’s top scorer of the side, Fuad Ekelojuoti believes they can turn the tide.
Ekelojuoti has netted four times this season; once the second most goals scored this season, but the goals have dried up and the club is spiraling down the down.
Nonetheless, the Winger remains upbeat and refuses to blame his versatile role in the team for the drought.
‘Not at all, I do what I have to for this team and that’s usually what the Coach demands. But goalscoring isn’t my main priority, everybody puts in the shift.
‘We just want to make sure we keep pushing as a team and get back to winning again, this is the key thing for me.’
