Akwa United’s acquisition of striker Mfon Udoh is a “good signing” that will “inspire the team”, both young and senior players former Akwa Ibom FA board member Friday Ekpo has told brila.net.
Mfon joined the Promise Keepers just before the new NPFL season, as one of the biggest signings in the club’s history.
Ekpo expressed delight with the deal and predicts the player will come good for the team, if he stays fit.
Ekpo, who played for Enyimba and Calabar Rovers in the League however warned that the club must not rest all its hopes on the prolific scorer, to avoid building a one-man team.
