Enyeama Admits Future Is Bright For Super Eagles

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has shared his optimism about the current Super Eagles squad following his visit to the team’s camp at the Ibom Golf Resorts.

 

The former Super Eagles captain who spent time with the team and the three goalkeepers; Daniel Akpeyi, Maduka Okoye and Ikechukwu Ezenwa, wished them the best of luck in their 2021 AFCON qualifiers clash against Lesotho on Sunday.

 

The 37-year old who is Nigeria’s most capped goal-keeper, however, disclosed that the future is bright for the team with the influx of talented youths in the team.

 

“What an honour to share this moment with the Super Eagles at the Ibom Golf Hotel and Resorts. Wishing them the very best in their next match. The future is bright for Nigerian football,” Enyeama tweeted on his verified Twitter handle.

 

He was part of the Super Eagles team that won the African Cup of Nations in 2013 and appeared at three FIFA World Cups.
