Enyimba coach Abd’allah celebrates Enyimba’s Super six qualification

Coach of NPFL side Enyimba FC Usman Abdallah has stated that it was a delight to see his side eventually qualify for the next stage of the NPFL after his side picked the final group A ticket despite losing 2-1 at Katsina to join Enugu Rangers and Lobi stars who finished first and second respectively as the three teams from group A.

Abdallah revealed in a chat with www.brila.net that he was really worried and scared for his side after been beaten by Katsina united 2-1 having imagined the likely scenario that will guarantee his side a top three finish at the end of the regular season.
He, however, expressed joy to have seen the People’s Elephant through to the Super six and stressed not been bothered by how they finished so far they got the qualification.
“After the match that I lost 2-1, I was worried because I was worried there can’t be a situation that I lose and qualify. I already know the scenario. I was furious after we lost 2-1.
Finally, I heard that we qualify and I was happy. So it’s all about that, I don’t care whether I qualify as first or second so far we qualify.”
Enyimba FC now will compete in the Super six and puts them in the hunt for league glory.
