Enyimba Coach says ‘We also want three points against Ifeanyi Ubah’

FC Ifeanyi Ubah have been on a free fall in the NPFL Super 6, losing all three of their opening matches in the playoff, but Enyimba Head Coach Usman Abdallah isn’t counting them out, but is determined to pick “our own three points” on Monday.

It’ll be matchday 4 of the playoffs on Monday and Enyimba are a point behind Pillars, with one more round of games left afterwards.

The reality of the situation is not lost on the Coach, who adamantly insists the advantage rests with Pillars, albeit the fixtures in the run in to the title slightly favors his side.

“At this moment all I’m telling my players is about winning the six points that remains, because the points available to us is 12 points and we’re half way through,” Abdallah told brila.net.

“We are thinking about winning our two matches and we’ll see what happens between Pillars and Rangers and then Lobi, because at this very moment the only team that seems to have an advantage is Pillars.

“If Pillars happen to win their two matches they’ve won the league and that’s the reality.”

“I am coming out as if this is my final game; against Ifeanyi Ubah, because that will determine a lot. We haven’t got the three points yet, every other team got three points against Ifeanyi Ubah, so let’s get it.”
