Coach of NPFL side and Nigeria’s CAF Confederation cup campaigner Enyimba Usman Abdallah has expressed his delight following Enyimba’s commanding 2-1 away win to complete a double over TS Galaxy of South Africa with a group stage qualification ticket picked in the process.
Abdallah speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team has done well and special to have shown such a strong performance announcing what they look like ahead of hostility in the group stage of the competition.
“It’s a win which is a moral booster to win an away match most especially a continental away match. It’s very important to get that confidence getting into the group stage with a win.
“But at the same time it’s not about the result but the qualification which is the most important thing to get into the group stage. And to get into the group stage this strongly, gives the players confidence in pursing this competition. I am very happy.”
