Nigerian International Oghenekaro Etebo was involved in Getate’s Laliga fixture against Granada at the Los Carmen stadium on Friday.
Etebo started who is on loan from Stoke played the entire minutes of the game and was unable to prevent his side from losing 2-1 on the night.
The Super Eagles midfielder however bagged in the game for a malicious challenge on Granada’s player.
David Timor Copoví fired Getafe ahead, but two late goals from Carlos Fernández Luna snatched all the three points from Etebo and his teammates.
Meanwhile, another Super Eagles midfielder, Ramon Azeez was not fielded by Granada, the former Almeria man watched the entire game from bench.
Getafe has now won one out of last four games and dropped to fifth with 46 points from 28 games, while Granada who stretched their unbeaten into five games occupied 8th place with 41 points from the same number of matches.
