Reports from the French media has revealed that the English premier league side Everton is monitoring Super Eagles striker Josh Maja.
French journalist Ignazio Genuardi said in a tweet that the Toffees sent a scout to watch the player during Bordeaux’s 1-0 loss to Strasbourg on December 15.
Maja, 20 is the only Nigerian with a hat trick in Europe major league and reports claimed that the player is not short of suitors following his impressive performances for Bordeaux this team.
Maja’s agent has a good relationship with Everton following the transfer of Alex Iwobi and ex-Toffees winger Ademola Lookman to Goodison Park outfit.
Maja played for Crystal Palace, Fulham and Manchester City, and Sunderland before his move to Bordeaux.
