Former Captain of Nigeria’s senior national team Joseph Yobo has urged Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr to consider experimenting with the Eagles young and fringe players in the dead rubber 2019 AFCON qualifying game.
Yobo said in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comthat games like this encourages players to have a sense of belonging and offer platforms to also have them showcase their talent in the national team and helps breed competition for places which is what is needed in the national team.
Nigeria will be up against Seychelles as well as the international friendly against Egypt ahead the 2019 AFCON.
