The NFF Technical Committee had been a docile department since the appointment of Gernot Rohr as Super Eagles Coach, and strangely so, but they could soon become relevant yet again.
Among it’s responsibilities, the NFF TD have the powers to vet every squad list invited by a national team Coach prepares before an official announcement.
That supervisory role did not apply to Rohr’s Super Eagles, at least until a clause in his new deal Cornerstonenewsng.comgathered.
In a new contract to be offered the German, the NFF has empowered the TD to vet player selection to the Super Eagles limiting the total control Rohr had over players’ selection.
