Nigeria Sand Eagles Head Coach Audu Adamu will stick with familiar starting five for the team’s opening group game against Portugal at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup on Friday.
Adamu shared the information exclusively with brila.net, including confirming that the team’s most prolific scorer, Abu Azeez, will lead the Eagles out against Selecção das Quinas.
In goal will be Danjuma Paul while Godspower Igudia and Emmanuel Ohwoferia will play in defence.
Emeka Ogbonna will start in the midfield and Azeez will top strike.
Nigeria will face Portugal – the first meeting between them in the tournament – at the Los Pynandi Stadium in Asuncion.
