Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has cleared the air on his position on the state of the 2019/20 Nigerian Professional League.
The Heartland Goalkeeper who posited that the league be concluded due to the Corona Virus pandemic told brila.net, that the safety of footballers was a priority and wouldn’t encourage a return to action just yet.
Ezenwa further attuned that selecting a Champion wasn’t necessary if Continental representatives can be resolved.
The former Enyimba shot-stopper who listed Vincent Enyeama and Manuel Neuer as his role models cited that both had a confidence that was unmatched in world football.
Ezenwa, who has only suffered defeat once in his appearances for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, listed Ahmed Musa and William Troost Ekong as the most powerful shot takers in the team and Islam Slimani as his toughest opponent.
