FIBA 3×3 Africa Cup: Selection headache for Nigeria’s Coach

Coach of Nigeria’s 3×3 national basketball team, Christopher Okoh has revealed that there is “serious competition” for places in the Men and Women’s team, a day into their camping for the FIBA Africa Cup.

Okoh, speaking with www.brila.net, said the players response has been good and that the intensity is also improving.

The Coach insists the invited players are putting in the shift to earn a place on the team headed for Uganda.

“We have 23 players now in camp, we’re expecting 6 more players to join us to make it 29, but training has already started yesterday (Tuesday) morning and evening session.

“The intensity keeps improving and the response of the players has been very good; they have been very competitive,” said Okoh.
