FIFA U17 World Cup: Nigeria Maintains Unbeaten Opening Match Record With 4-2 Win Over Hungary

Nigeria came from behind twice to snatch an entertaining 4-2 victory over Hungary in their Group B opening day match of the FIFA U17 World Cup.

A brace from Oluwatimilehin Adeniyi and goals from Samson Tijani and Usman Ibrahim ensured the Eaglets maintained a 100 percent unbeaten record in the opening match of an U17 World Cup tournament.

 

The sets the Many Garba-led team in good stead ahead of their second group game.

 

Nigeria will meet Ecuador on October 29th at the Estádio Olímpico in Goiânia.
