Galatasaray open talks over permanent Onyekuru transfer from Everton

Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray have opened talks with Everton to sign Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru on a permanent deal according to Aksam.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan with the Istanbul club for the season and the Turkish club want to keep the Everton youngster beyond this campaign.

The Nigerian winger has been in outstanding form for Galatasaray in recent weeks and the player has scored nine goals in the league in this campaign, making him the 2nd top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig.

Aksam report Galatasaray’s coaching staff have been impressed with the Everton loanee and subsequently, they don’t want to lose him at the end of the season.

It’s also claimed Onyekuru is a huge fan of former Cim Bom star Didier Drogba and the Turkish giants may look to use the Ivorian’s influence to convince him to stay at the club.
