Golbe hails Plateau United’s colleagues after NPFL survival

Plateau United’s captain Elisha Golbe has hailed his club colleagues after the Jos based side preserved their top-flight status at the end of the NPFL regular season after the club secured a point in the goalless draw away to Delta force in the last match day of the NPFL regular season.

Golbe speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said it was a difficult season for the former league champions and having to do the Job the hard way on the road in the last match day of the regular season was down to the sheer resolve of the players to ensure they stay afloat and maintain the status quo after a very tough campaign for the team.
“It has not been easy right from the beginning, we really planned for the game we psyched ourselves to make sure that we give the best that we can and we thank God at the end of the day we achieved our aim and we escape relegation.
Being in the relegation zone and playing the last match away, we psyched ourselves to make sure we give our best to get a point in the game.”
Plateau United will now hope to bounce back stronger next season after a disappointing end to a promising season.
