Acting President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Olamide George has stated that talks about initially suspended President of the AFN who has now been impeached is in the past as the Federation now have it sight set on programs before it as well as thoughts on Olympics preparation.
George speaking in a chat with brila.net said the target is now there for the Federation to gets to work and that discussions on Gusau now is a distraction, one that he is tired of going through.
We are public officers, we must learn to be answerable to the people and for me I am even tired of talking about Gusau, I have two competitions ahead of me for February, I’m preparing for the Olympics and that is my target. These are distractions to me.
