Heartland’s Nnoshiri eyes Flying Eagles call up

Heartland FC teenage sensation Samuel Nnoshiri has set his sight on gaining a call up to Nigeria U-20 National team and vowed to deliver when get his chance.

 

Nnoshiri is one of the players who has enjoyed rave reviews following his good performances in the six weeks old 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League season and has played a huge role in Heartland’s good form so far.

 

The former ASJ Football Academy star said his aim is to get a chance to represent the country at U-20 level but if believes good performances at his club is the only option that can help achieve his dream.

 

“I will really love to play for the U-20. I had featured for the national team at U-17 level and I believe I can perform well at the U-20 stage but I must continue to play well for my club”.

 

The 17-year-old left-footed attacking midfielder who has two goals and an assist to his name this season said he joined Heartland FC to prove his mettle to Nigeria Football stakeholders.

 

“My main aim for joining Heartland is to make sure I prove myself and show my capabilities. I really want to play for the U-20 team and I believe that playing for Heartland in the NPFL will give me the opportunity to improve while I await the opportunity,” he concluded.
