Mr. Ozee Ndukwe, a Nigerian based in the United Kingdom and his ex-wife, Esohe Elizabeth Adams would not let go the property but are threatening their lives.

In a petition, Ndukwe said he and Esohe lived in Canada as husband and wife between 2000 and 2008 when he relocated to the UK, leaving his former wife behind in their 3-bedroom apartment in Canada.

Ndukwe disclosed that as his wife, Esohe convinced him to give her power of attorney to enable her to take a decision on the property on his behalf, should any issue arise while he is away, a demand he obliged.

Trouble, however, started when Esohe got a job and relocated to Nigeria in 2010.

According to Ndukwe, after a period of time, his wife cut off communication with him.

He said Esohe later had children (twin baby girls) for another man in Nigeria.

Ndukwe further said in May this year, Esohe sold his house in Canada and refused to give him the proceeds.

“My house in Canada was put up for sale early this year and sold in May 2018. Esohe instructed the realtor to cease communication with me and till now has refused to show a bill of sale when asked by my sister in Boston.

“I have been extremely patient and decided that the next step is to make my grievances public before contacting the Oba of Benin for the injustice rendered to me.”

In her response, Esohe Adams said she would not discuss her family life in the public, claiming that she was not legally married to Ndukwe.

“It is important to make the point that I am not legally married to Mr. Ozee as his purported marriage to me has since been nullified by a competent Court.

He is married in the UK after absconding from Canada, where he was running from the law enforcement agents,” she alleged.

It was gathered that Esohe divorced Ndukwe in April this year in Benin without the man’s knowledge.
