I have a STRONG Feeling Super Eagles will Conquer Africa – Lokosa

Nigeria’s bid to win a fourth AFCON title in Egypt is attainable, because the Super Eagles are a quality side with the right mentality to pull it off, says Esperance de Tunis forward Junior Lokosa.

On Sunday, Gernot Rohr announced his 23-man list for the competition, with Semi Ajayi and Kelechi Iheanacho dropped.

Nonetheless, the team is still a strong unit and is capable of picking the top prize in Egypt, Lokosa stressed.

In a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comthe Striker, who has one cap for Nigeria, praised the Coach and the players, who were stand out performers for the respective clubs.

“I believe the Eagles will go far, because the players invited and selected by the Coach Gernot Rohr are good, wonderful players who did great in their clubs.

“Our lovely captain Mikel Obi, Odion Ighalo, Ogu (John), Onyekuru (Henry); a lot of good players and I believe in them.

“I had the opportunity to be with them and I know their mentality is to win; it’s in how they train and the love in the team; I’m sure they’ll make Nigerians really proud.

“I’m wish them well and I know they’ll make us all proud. I believe the AFCON trophy will be in Nigeria; I have that strong feeling.”
