President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation Hon. Daniel Igali has called on the Private sector as well as the Government to fully support the winning Wrestling Federation and other federation if Nigeria is desirous of winning medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Igali said in a chat with www.brila.net that the Wrestling Federation, for instance, have started brightly but couldn’t do more than take the established athletes to the two opening tournaments in the year because of the paucity of funds.
Igali said timely support when there is still good enough time to camp and get athletes in shape will help position Nigeria as one of the nations that can look forward to winning big at the games next year.
