The duo of Nigerian of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action for their English premier league side Leicester City on Friday.
Both players however failed to rescue the Foxes from defeat against relegation threatened Norwich City at Carrow road on the night.
While Iheanacho started and lasted the entire duration of the encounter, Ndidi made his long awaited return from injury as a second half substitute.
Jamal Lewis scored the only goal of the game in the 76th minutes to hand the strugglers all the three points and left the Foxes UEFA champions league qualification jeopardy in the process.
