Experienced Super Falcons player Faith Ikidi Michael has downplayed Nigeria’s women national team 4-1 defeat to their Austrian counterpart and urged Nigerians not to keep faith with the team notwithstanding the loss.
Ikidi speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the Nigeria women national team is still a work in progress and that now is the time to do all forms of experiments with the team in a bid to get things right at the world cup stressing that for now it shouldn’t be about result alone but about the team’s adaptation to how the coach want the team to play.
Nigeria next play Slovakia on Friday 1st of March before playing her final group stage match at the Cyprus cup on Monday 4th March 2019.
