340 days after he suffered a Cruciate Ligament rupture, Super Eagles right-back Tyronne Ebuehi has returned to very light training with SL Benfica.
Ebuehi joined Benfica from Dutch Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag in the summer of 2018, however, he didn’t feature for the Primeira liga Liga side in any competitive fixture for the entire season.
The 23 year-old copped the injury during a pre-season friendly and has since remained sidelined until this week.
On Thursday, there was a sunshiny update on that injury as the right-back shared a picture on his instagram page.
He captioned the picture of him with the ball at his feet : Com paciência.. Step by step – Godspeed

The Super Eagles defender, who missed out on the 2019 AFCON, didn’t specify how long it’ll take before he returns to action fully, but the sight of him on the pitch again is cheerful news.
