Bendel Insurance player, Charles Omokaro has revealed how difficult the NPFL has been for his side following a return to topflight football in Nigeria after a decade.
Omokaro in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid it has been quite difficult for most of the players who just last season were in the second tier of club football in Nigeria but expressed optimism that they would be able to maintain their present NPFL status at the end of the season.
“It is very difficult because when you have been out for 11 years, it can be hard. I thank God we are back. Playing In the NPFL is not easy especially playing with a team like ours. We are playing with the same set of players we had in the NNL”, he stated.
Bendel Insurance are presently 9th on the Group A log of the NPFL but with 2 outstanding matches.
