ITTF Nigerian Open: I’m under no pressure to deliver, Says 20th seed ‘Jide Omotayo

Nigerian Tennis Player and World Number 204 Olajide Omotayo has declared that he is under no pressure to perform at the ITTF Nigerian Open.

 

 

The 23-year-old who plays professional in Europe mentioned a respected  Colleague, Aruna Quadri who is 18th in the World as a perfect example of a player who is under some pressure.

 

He was part of the Nigerian quartet that won Silver at the Commonwealth games 2018 held in Brisbane Australia.

 

Omotayo is currently the 3rd highest ranked Nigerian, and the 8th ranked African in the world of table tennis.

 

Just like every other Nigerian table tennis player, non is within the top 100 in the world so Omotayo occupies the 204th position in the world a great improvement on his ranking this time last year.
