Three times Israel Ligat Ha’Al champion, John Ogu is ready for the new season., after a debut world cup appearance with Nigeria.
The midfielder returned to his base with Hapoel Be’er Sheva, where the a marathon nine-month club duty is about to get under way.
Ogu made Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup squad, after missing out four years ago, but despite not playing any match until Nigeria’s ouster in the group stages the box-to-box central midfielder is looking ahead.
On Wednesday, he tweeted:

Ogu has won the league in the last three successive seasons and a domestic double in the 2016-17 season.
