“Keep Resting in Peace Daddy”! Omeruo remembers Stephen Keshi

Three years after his passing Stephen Keshi continues to live in the hearts of those whose lives he impacted as a player and Coach of the Super Eagles.

On this day in 2016, the heart wrenching news of Keshi’s passing sent a wave of gloom that blanketed the entire continent; the football world mourned.

 

Former teammates, Coaches, Clubs and football governing bodies paid their respect to the memory of the Big Boss.

 

On Friday Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo posted a message on his instagram page in remembrance and honor of Keshi.

 

Keep Resting in Peace Daddy #stevenkeshi , Omeruo captioned a picture of the former Eagles Coach.

The defender, who won the AFCON in 2013 as one of several greenhorns in the Super Eagles team tutored by Keshi, is currently in the Team’s Asaba camp, where Nigeria is preparing for the continental competition in Egypt later this month.
