Kwara United coach Abdulahi Biffo had expressed interest in handling the Nigerian national team from the age-grade teams in the future.
Biffo in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comexclusively said that coaching the national team is like carrying the image of the country which he would really love to do if given the opportunity.
“It’s not a small task, that’s why sometimes you don’t blame the NFF whenever they make any choice on appointing a coach, such a person must be ready to carry out a lot of responsibilities,’ He told brila.net.
The former Katsina United coach recalled that he had worked in so many parts of the country and as such, he knows where to annex younger talents to represent the national team.
“We need to be objective and be constructive so, you can’t jump knowledge I think I have been in the league since 2005, I have known a couple of young players in the league, if I’m given an opportunity I will like to start from the age-grade, the age-grade could be U15, U17 or U20 national team’s.
Biffo joined Kwara United on a three-year deal in 2019 after he voluntarily resigned from his former club, Kastina United for undisclosed reasons.
