Lobi stars Head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has stated that his side are not getting carried away just yet after finishing top of the NPFL log following the completion of Match day 19 round of games to end the first stanza of the 2019/2020 topflight season.
Ogunbote speaking in an interview with brila.net said the club desire to do well in the current campaign and give a real shot at winning the league title but understands that it is still a significant distance to achieve this with 19 more games still to go.
He thereafter added that the team will work hard to sustain the momentum.
“Winning of the league is just too early now, we have as much as 19 games to determine that and anything could happen in between these 19 games.
“It’s a huge number. All we’re just trying to do is just to see that we do very well this season and thank God we are occupying the first position.
“We want to see all we can do to manage the success. We are not focussing on the teams behind us, we are looking at sustaining the momentum and that means we have to work harder than we have done before.” He concluded.
