Lille will be open to sell on Victor Osimhen despite the Striker’s impressive form this season, and several Premier League side’s are keen to jump on the chance to acquire the player.
Osimhen, 20, joined Lille OSC last season from Royal Charleroi SC for a fee in the region of € 12M and the Nigerian settled right into his new role at the club.
He has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions this season for Les Dogues and caught the eyes of three top EPL club sides according to kickOff.com, quoting SkySports.com.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, “have been monitoring the player this season”, states the report on Kick Off.
It went further:
“That the player is happy in Lille and is keen to help the club finish among the Champions League places once again.
Despite the reported sides interested in Osimhen, it is believed that he will remain in Ligue 1 for the remainder of the campaign unless the club receive an offer too big to turn down.
When asked about the player’s future a couple weeks ago, Lille coach Christophe Galtier told BeIN Sports I think that he will stay (until the end of the season), but in football, nothing is certain.”
