As many people including some sports stars anticipate the final season of the immensely popular HBO television series Game of Thrones.
Lionel Messi also proved he is also one of those awaiting the release of the series, Messi showed off three pairs of the Adidas shoes in his Instagram story, each in different colours with ‘Game of Thrones’ written on the inside sole and also sigils from the show, or recognisable lines from the hit TV and book series.
The first, in silver, has the sigil of the house of Stark on the tongue – a grey direwolf on a black background.
Second is a trainer primarily coloured red, with the symbol of the Targaryens as decoration – a red, three-headed dragon.
The final trainer, which is black with white flecks, has words as decoration on the tongue: ‘Night gathers and now my watch begins’.
Messi has been able to enjoy his new footwear following his early exit from duty with Argentina during the international break.
