Lobi Stars still on track despite wiki draw, says Femi Kayode

Lobi stars goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode has stated that the Makurdi based side are still on track and wouldn’t be derailed after another draw away to Wikki tourist in a rescheduled league game which stretched the club’s winless run to four straight games.
Speaking after the game which ended 1-1 in Bauchi in a telephone chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comKayode said the team is not happy with the result picked because the intention was to pick maximum points after losing major ground to take advantage of their outstanding matches.
” We’re not too happy with the result but we still have to thank God for picking a point though believing that in our subsequent games we can have a better result and very optimistic we are going to be among the top three. We are more focussed on how to achieve our own ambition not minding whatever anybody say.”
Lobi stars sits 5th on the league table after having picked just 3 points out of a possible 12 and would hope to bounce back to winning ways as soon as possible to arrest the club’s slow movement on the log.
