Gombe United coach, Isa Ladan Bosso has lamented that his players are beginning to feel the effect of lengthy trips in the course of the league, hence the 2-0 loss to FC Ifeanyi Ubah in a matchday 7 NPFL fixture.
Bosso told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat fatigue is a major factor, however, he noted some key areas his side needs to improve on.
“We have identified our mistakes but the issue of fatigue is beginning to set in with the players but we will see how we can manage it ahead of next game.
If you are coaching a team from the far north, one must be careful as you must have a team for home games and a separate team for away matches”, Bosso noted.
Gombe United are rooted to the bottom of Group B of the NPFL log.
