The Lagos State Task Force has dispelled the rumours making round on the social media that Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (a.k.a MC OLU-OMO) is dead.

In a statement, public relations officer of the agency, Mr Toafik Adebayo, said: ” This is to state unequivocally that Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (a.k.a M.C Olu-omo) is not dead as being circulated in the social media. He is responding to medical treatment at hospital.

” For avoidance of doubt, members of his family could be contacted for further information. The agency, therefore, warns hoodlums who may want to use the opportunity to foment trouble to desist as anybody caught disturbing the public peace would be seriously dealt with.

” Parents are hereby enjoined to be vigilant about activities of their children as the Lagos State Police Command is on ground to maintain law and order and anyone caught in any act of violence would be arrested and made to face the music “. Adebayo stated .


Olu-Omo, an executive member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers ( NURTW) was stabbed in the neck during the kick -off the campaign by the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo – Olu, at Sky power filed, Ikeja. The rally went awry as party faithful ran for cover.
