Mabo urges NFF to appoint Ex Falcons to lead women national team

Former coach of Nigeria’s women national team Ismaila Mabo has urged the Nigeria Football Federation to come to a decision and have the vacant position of the Nigeria Super Falcons filled with the appointment of a substantive coach for the team now that they are doing same for the senior men national team.

Mabo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Nigeria Football Federation need not look too further in search of a competent handler for the women team stressing that they can very well draw up a few for consideration from the pool of pioneer Ex Falcons players who are now coaches and doing well as coaches.
“Concerning the appointment of the coaches, let them appoint someone from the girls that were pioneers of the Super Falcons. Appoint some of them let them go round like we have been doing in the past, scout for or spot some girls and then invite them at the end of the exercise among women clubs. Get these women coaches to train them, to handle them.”
