English Premier League side Manchester United has welcome Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo and the rest of the team back to training after six weeks’ absence.

The Premier League players were allowed backed in training for the first time on Wednesday as they stepped up preparations for a possible league restart in mid-June.

While some players frowned at the decision to allow them back in training, Ighalo and his Manchester United teammates were happy to return as they trained under strict conditions.

Manchester United posted the picture of Ighalo and Juan Mata from their first training session with the caption:

“Welcome back, fellas! 👋😁, while Ighalo who replied in another post said he’s happy to be back to business.

“So good to be back again 💪🏼❤️ #ighalo #mufc #ggmu” Ighalo wrote on his social media handle.

Ighalo has scored four goals for the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men since joining on loan from Chinese Super league Side Shanghai Shenhua back in January.
