Coach Manu Garba has expressed confidence about the chances of his team at the WAFU U-17 tournaments which serve as qualifying competition for the 2019 U-17 AFCON.

On the quality of his team, he said, “I quite believe in the capability of my boys as on a good day they are simply a great team to watch.
We will give out best on Monday against Burkina Faso as a victory in our first match is very important and by God’s Grace at the end of the game we will come out victorious.”
He concluded by saying his team were ready and up for the task ahead in Niamey, the Niger Republic.
