MFM Queens coach Aderemi commends players despite final defeat

Coach of Nigeria women Premier basketball league side MFM Queens of Lagos Adewunmi Aderemi has commended the efforts of his players despite losing the final match of the 2019 Nigeria women Premier league national final 8 to Air warriors of Abuja 55-53.

Aderemi speaking in a chat with brila.net said it was an unfortunate end to the game after missing a number of under basket shot but stressed that his players played to instruction and deserves commendation despite the defeat to Air Warriors in Thursday’s final.
“Very exciting, very interesting, very energetic and I give credit to the players because they played to instruction, we were just a little bit unfortunate because we lost a lot of under basket shot but at the same time nobody even gave us a chance to get to the final so we are very okay with the second place.
We still have a lot of work to do, so we get back home and start working again ahead of next season immediately.”
