MFM Stars Onuwa and Okorom wanted by Enyimba

MFM FC Stars Chukwuka Onuwa and Stanley Okorom has emerged as transfer target for former Nigeria professional football league champions Enyimba international of Aba.

Onuwa and Okorom has attracted suitors having proved they are capable of making any team in the country a formidable side with quality performances for MFM in recent time.

MFM Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu confirmed months back that the pin-sized Onuwa is interested in quitting the Lagos based team for financial reasons but it remained to be seen if the interest of the People’s Elephants will materialised.

Okorom was on target for MFM yesterday in their 4-1 pre season win over Abubakar Bala’s Kwara United.

Enyimba lost Captain Mfon Udoh to Akwa United and are also in battle to retain the services of Stanley Dimgba and Super Eagles goalkeeper Theophilos Afelokhai for next season.

The 2018 CAF Confederations Cup semi-finalists are reportedly keen to get the deal for Okorom and Onuwa over the line before the closure of the transfer window.
