My father taught me never to dignify nonsense – Oparanozie

Super Falcons Forward Desire Oparanozie has alluded her disciplinary traits to her father.

The Guingamp forward made the statement while speaking to brila.net, while reflecting on her captaincy as well as time so far with the National team.

The goaleador, who moved to Wolfsburg after breaking to the scene at the 2010 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup explained that her short-lived spell in Germany was due to a lack of game time.

She also claimed her short-lived tenure as skipper of the national team taught her lessons, while also alleging that Nigerian football’s top brass didn’t like being questioned.

Oparanozie, elected captain by former gaffer Thomas Dennerby hopes to feature in the Olympics before retirement.
