National Table Tennis coach Nosir Bello has stated that he expects Nigeria’s junior and cadet table tennis players to emerge overall winners at the ongoing International Table Tennis Federation Africa Junior and Cadet championship in Ghana.
Bello said having secured qualification for the world junior and cadet championship, he believes the Nigerian table tennis players will crown it all by emerging tops despite having secured world championships qualification.
“Their chances are very bright and take tennis in the whole of Africa belongs to Nigeria and Egypt. The players had good preparation time in Nigeria before traveling and I believe in the ability to end up overall winners.”
Nigeria and Egypt will battle it out today in the finale of both the junior and cadet boys and girls.
