Nigeria’s Wilfred Ndidi is on line to pick Leicester City first award of the season, after his goal against Chelsea was nominated for the Club’s goal of the month award.
The midfilder scored a bullet thumping header from James Maddison’s corner kick against the Frank Lampard’s men in their week two English premier league clash at Stanford bridge last month .
The goal was an equaliser for the Foxes , as they ran away with a point from the den of the former premier league champions.
Ndidi will battle Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes and two others for the award which will be voted by the club fans.
According to the club’s official website, voting ends on September 8 before midnight.
The winner will receive a signed print of the goal celebration.
