Nduka Ugbade urge Nigerians to keep faith with Eaglets

Assistant coach of Nigeria’s U17 national team Nduka Ugbade has urged Nigerians not to lose faith in the Eaglet despite a not too convincing outing by the team at the just concluded CAF Africa U17 cup of nations in Tanzania where the team finished fourth to end without a medal.
Ugbade speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team will work harder and do the best they can to ensure that they get better and stronger at the FIFA U17 world cup in Brazil.
He urged Nigerians not to worry so much and simply believe in the team to improve.
“It’s been interesting we have finished our competition and what was in our heart at the end didn’t come to pass but we’re coming home, it’s been interesting and Nigerians shouldn’t worry because the world cup is still there and the most important thing at the African journey is qualifying for the world cup.
“We will do the best that we can when we start to prepare so Nigerians shouldn’t bother much.”
Nigeria lost her third-place game against Angola on kicks from the penalty spot to finish fourth at the end of the competition.
