Katsina United Head Coach Abdullahi Biffo has told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat he would welcome the idea of playing NPFL matches at neutral venues as a part of any proposal for a new format to build a better league.
Biffo who recently guided Katsina through to the semi-final of the Aiteo Cup following his side’s 3-1 victory over Kwara United on Wednesday is confident playing at neutral venues will show the true quality of teams in the top flight.
‘I’m in total support of any idea to play league games at available neutral venues if this will show the Coaches and teams that are actually the best.
‘If the NFF decides or approve such a proposal I believe it will bring the best of the League and we can have champions that we can be certain of,’ Biffo explained.
