The 2019 Afrobasket Women Champions D’Tigress have been drawn with Tunisia and Cameroon in Group B of the FIBA Afrobasket Women 2019 scheduled for August 10th to 18th in Dakar, Senegal.
In the draws conducted in Dakar on Monday July 29th, 12 teams were placed in 4 pots and later grouped into 4 groups of 3 teams each.
The groups are as follows:
Group A – Cote D’Ivoire, Egypt , and Senegal
Group B – Tunisia , Cameroon and Nigeria
Group C – Angola , DR Congo and Mali
Group D – Kenya , Cape Verde and Mozambique
The country that finishes first from the group automatically qualifies for the Quarterfinals while the other two teams will play a knock out game for a change in the Quarterfinals.
