New NIKE Kits?! Eaglets rocking special football Jerseys in AFCON

The NFF and NIKE kit deal has always attracted controversy and in 2019 may not be any different with the latest coming in Tanzania where the national U17 men’s team are currently competing in the Nations’ Cup.

In 2018, Nigeria’s World Cup kit was the toast of football fans; reportedly sold out in major NIKE stores across Europe within hours of its release.

But, not all the national teams at the time were issued the famous feather patterned shirts – including the senior Women’s National team.

It drew the angst of fans across the country and even more when the Falcons travelled for the 2018 AWCON camp without official kits.

More recently, the Eaglets at the CAF U17 AFCON have played three group stages matches with kits different from the 2018 issue.

Lately, NFF sources have told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat the Federation was close to a new deal with the American Kits company, but could the outfits worn by the Eaglets in Tanzania be a pre issue or the new kits?
