First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation Barrister Seyi Akinwumi has stated that the Football Federation is passionate about women football and that they are already coming up with plans to have the vacant position of the women national team filled.
Akinwumi speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comthe Federation is keen on the development of women football and will continue to try to push forward with the plan of the women game.
“We certainly will and in fact, we certainly are looking at it and everybody knows my views on developing women football and I’m very keen on it so I share Ismaila Mabo’s sentiment.
We need to push forward women’s football in Nigeria. I assure you we are actually working and I’m sure everybody will soon here. “
